Abstract Sven Lidman växte upp i blygsamma förhållanden, men blev med tiden en offentlig person, en ?kändis? i sin samtid. Han var en av det begynnande 1900-talets mest uppmärksammade författare, vars diktsamlingar och romaner väckte sensation hos samtidskritiken. Flera recensenter nämner Lidman som ett av den unga litteraturens stjärnskott. Av senare verksamma essäister och litteraturhistoriker betraktas hans författarskap som ett av de mest betydande under 1900-talets första decennier vid sidan av namn som Bo Bergman, Hjalmar Bergman, Elin Wägner, Anders Österling och andra.

Jag ville skriva om Sven Ljungberg och undersöka hur han arbetar, och på vilket sätt han lyckats att bli profet i sin egen hemstad. Man träffar på hans konst på många platser, till exempel utsmyckningen av predikstolen i Hinneryds kyrka. Förutom att det finns ett museum i hans namn har det skrivits mycket både av och om Sven Ljungberg. Till exempel utkom 1985 Anne Lidéns biografi Sven Ljungberg, målare. Jag vill karakterisera den som en hyllning till hela konstnärskapet.

This thesis is a study of social alienation in two novels by Sara Lidman, Regnspiran (1958) and Bära mistel (1960). Taking the Swedish ?people?s home? and the normative view of people that it entailed as its point of departure, it examines the different kinds of alienation present in Lidman?s work. The analysis consists of three main parts. Part one examines geographical alienation in the novels, as well as the process of racialization of bodies that are considered out of place.

The purpose of this essay is to analyze how the Trojan prince Paris is described in the Iliad and in the movie Troy in regard to love and bravery. Thereafter an analysis of the similarities and differences between the Iliad and the movie Troy will be made. There will also be a discussion why there are differences between an epic story which was made for over two thousand years ago and a modern movie made in the twenty-first century. The differences will be based on the perspective ancient Greek culture versus filmmaking of the twenty-first century. The method that has been used is narrative analysis where the primary data, the Iliad and the movie Troy, have been interpreted.                        The Trojan prince Paris is described as a young, handsome man driven by his passion for Helen.

The aim of the study is to investigate the relationship between text and picture in two works by Sven Nordqvist, with the focus on how the action is propelled. The two works are compared in order to bring out any differences in the relationship and what significance this can have for the interpretation.
